Practice Reading Culture

RwK has two goals:

  2. Create a community of book lovers to surround, support, and strengthen that effort.

We are looking for volunteers and donors. But most of all, we urge people to do any of the following to serve a role models for our children, and our community.

  • Read to your children and grandchildren.
  • Read in public: during work breaks; in the checkout line; in the waiting room; at dinner; at public events.
  • Encourage the parents of babies & young children to read to them every night.
  • Join a book club, or start your own. Include people at work, at your church, your civic club, your PTA, and your neighborhood.
